The book contains 13 chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the introduction. Chapter 2, 3 and 4 covers the data-driven methods for prediction of small-to-medium wind turbines performance, optimization of wind farms for communities, and financing for community wind and solar project development. Chapter 5, 6 and 7 discussed the community-level solar thermal systems, solar-water desalination for small communities, and community solar PV projects. Chapter 8 introduces the assessment of wind load for urban photovoltaic installations. Chapter 9 highlights the design optimization of multi-energy hubs for community energy projects. Chapter 10 discussed the battery-based storage for communities. Chapter 11 and 12 introduces the power-to-gas and power-to-power for storage and ancillary services in urban areas and smart multi-energy microgrids. And the last chapter covers the conservation and demand management in community energy systems.
